Tips for Lenovo Thinkpad T61 Battery :
  • Your new Lenovo Thinkpad T61 Battery comes in a discharged condition and must be charged before use (refer to your computer manual for charging instructions). Upon initial use (or after a prolonged storage period) the battery may require two to three charge/discharge cycles before achieving maximum capacity.

I'm very happy with this battery since with my old one it wouldn't hold a charge for over a minute. This one has a very long battery life and I really don't mind how far it sticks out. It makes it easier to type for me while at my desk.
